On iOS, high-quality voices aren't always active by default. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Spoken Content > Voices and ensure you've downloaded the "Enhanced" or "Premium" versions.

Try bracing your elbows against your sides for stability. AI struggles most with shadows cast directly over the text, so ensure plenty of ambient light.
